Dr. Wilson is the Senior Pastor of New Song Community Church in Sandtown-Winchester, Baltimore. He is the co-founder, chief visionary, and President of Create U. He has served as Executive Director of two organizations, Urban Evangelical Mission and Operation Relief Center, which focused on church planting, evangelism, and social transformation by providing social and spiritual services to the disenfranchised and homeless.

 

During this time, Dr. Wilson also served as an inner-city pastor in South Dallas. Dr. Wilson is a published writer and essayist; he contributed to the Urban Ministries International Sunday School curriculum for seven years. He served on the Executive Board of Metropolitan Atlanta Baptist Ministers Union and was a Certified Core Course Bible Instructor for National Baptist Convention.

 

Dr. Wilson organized Redemption Fellowship (PCA) in Fayetteville, GA. Known for its love for one another, community involvement, missions, leadership development, and discipleship programs the community embraced Redemption as an equipping ministry and the church became a model for African American church planting in the PCA.
